Robin Martin

Robin Martin enters her eighth season as the assistant softball coach at Nova Southeastern University. During her tenure, the blue and silver have been ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation and have produced several All-Conference and All-Region selections, as well as two All-America selections.

Prior to joining NSU, Martin played for Auburn University from 2003-06 where she saw action in 135 games at four different positions: second base, catcher, third base and outfield. During her playing career, Auburn made appearances in three NCAA Regional Tournaments and was ranked in the Top-25. In her senior year, the Tigers hit a program milestone when they won their way into their first ever Regional Championship match up versus national powerhouse, Arizona, who would be the eventual National Champion that year. After she used her eligibility, Martin stayed on as a student-assistant her fifth year.

Academically, Martin earned Auburn Top Tiger Award honors from 2004-07 while being named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, she was also named an NSCA Strength and Conditioning All-American and the Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year.

Martin graduated cum laude from Auburn in 2007 with a degree in journalism, a double minor in criminology and sport coaching, and she completed her Master’s in business leadership at NSU in 2010.
