NEW ORLEANS, La. – Nova Southeastern cross country has placed seven runners on the USTFCCA All-South Region team, as announced Tuesday.
On the men’s side, the Sharks had four players named to the list, headed by lead runner
Kevin Meagher (Sr., Mansfield, Mass.). Meagher was honored alongside
Timo Kilp (Jr., Tallinn, Estonia),
Long Tran (Jr., Saigon, Vietnam) and
Jordan Brown (Fr., Gainesville, Fla.). The group all placed in the top-20 at Regionals and led the Sharks to their first South Region Championship.
On the women’s side, the Sharks claimed three All-South Region runners.
Alexandria Palm (Jr., Winnebago, Ill.) is joined by fellow junior
Peri Bowman (Virginia Beach, Va.) and sophomore
Rose Howell (St. Louis, Mo.). The trio helped the Sharks claim third Regionals and take a spot in the NCAA National Championship.
South Region Coach of the Year honors are set be announced Wednesday.
