FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nova Southeastern senior
Kevin Meagher (Providence, R.I.) has been named Sunshine State Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week presented by VALIC, as announced by the conference office Monday, Sept. 10.
Meagher finished fifth of 71 runners at the USF Invitational. Meagher completed the 8K course with a time of 26:59.65 to lead the Sharks to a second-place showing at the nine-team event.
The Sharks will have two weeks off before they take to the course again Sept. 29 in Stillwater, Okla., where the will compete in the Cowboy Jamboree.
