WINTER PARK, Fla. – Nova Southeastern senior
Vinnie Contaldi (Jupiter, Fla.) was selected as the Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week presented by the conference office and VALIC.
Contaldi was nearly flawless in five innings of a victory over Albany State. Contaldi did not allow a single hit or walk en route to his second win of the season. He struck out seven batters in a game the No. 17 Sharks ultimately won 16-7.
The Sharks are back in action Tuesday evening at St. Thomas with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.
