FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern men's basketball program continued its involvement with the local community by hosting multiple camps over the course of the summer.
"Camp was great this year," said assistant coach Brandon Crone. "Our camp counselors and coach Kiffin did a great job teaching the game of basketball. The two camps were by far the best I have been involved with. We take a lot of pride in not only making sure the campers have an enjoyable time, but really teaching the fundamentals of the game that they can work on going forward."
Coach Crone and long-time assistant coach Marquise Kiffin served as coaches to over 100 young basketball players from around the South Florida area. Many current and former Sharks also participated in the camp, allowing each camper to get the personal attention needed to improve their basketball skills. Two sessions were held at the NSU Arena, a shooting camp and another concentrating on individual skills.
The NSU men's basketball program would like to thank all the families who participated in this year's summer camps. For information on future camps at NSU, go to www.SharksBasketballCamps.com.
