FORT LAUDERDALE – The Nova Southeastern University men's and women's swim programs received their first top-25 national rankings for the 2016-17 swim season. The NSU men top the polls ranked No. 1, while the women are tied for No. 3 with UC San Diego in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America/TYR Division II top-25 Swimming & Diving poll.
"Obviously humbled to be recognized by our peers, this reflects the collective efforts given by all our young men and women," head coach
Ben Hewitt said. "However, we remain focused on not where we are sitting in the middle of the year, but where we are standing at the end. As a program, we will continue to our focus on what we are doing and not on what we've done."
Rankings are compiled by CSCAA-member coaches and released on a monthly basis. The next polls will be released on November 16, 2016.
