CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Three Nova Southeastern University women's golfers earned NCAA Division II All-American distinction by the Women's Golf Coaches Association, as announced by the organization on Friday.
Aldana Foigel (Fr., Plottier, Argentina) was selected as a First Team member following her debut season with the squad, and fellow first-year
Sophie Madden (Fr., Essex, England) and
Jamie Freedman (So., Miami Beach, Fla.) were designated as Honorable Mention.
The trio was the Sharks' three lowest scorers during a season that saw them help the lead the team to a third-place national finish under a week ago, as well as a regional title and conference tournament runner-up finish. Throughout the regular season, NSU was fifth or better in all but one event, with a victory at the vaunted Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational.

About the Women's Golf Coaches Association
The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents nearly 600 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
