Biography
PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Swam for two seasons’ at the University of the Cumberlands… Was named the 2009 NAIA Swimmer of the Year… He was a three time NAIA National Champion and currently holds the 200y freestyle National record with a time of 1:38.51.
HIGH SCHOOL
Swam for a year at Leto High School… His senior season he was the FHSAA Class 2A state champion in the 100y butterfly… Was named to the Tampa Tribune and St. Petersburg Times All-County team and the Most Valuable Player…
CLUB EXPERIENCE
Swam for the Davie Nadadores under head coach Alex Pussieldi... In 2009 was a US Open B-Finalist in the 200m butterfly with a time of 2:00.58.
PERSONAL
A sports management major with a minor in Spanish… Lists his favorite food as bacon and his favorite subject in school as anatomy… His favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean and Miranda Kerr is his favorite celebrity… Rebecca Soni is his favorite professional athlete and Real Madrid is his favorite sports team… Son of Jorge Ospina and Elba Casas and has a sister, Marylin.
