AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-2012)
Honored as an All American Honorable Mention in the 400-Individual Medley... Selected as First Team ALL- SSC ...Swimming at the All-Florida Invite (10/7-9/2011) he was the top Shark in the 200-yard breaststroke finishing in 2:11.75 for 10th-place … Swimming at Rollins (11/5/2011 ) he competed in the men’s team in the 400-yard individual yard relay was on the Sharks “A” relay team that finished in second-place (1:36.66)…Against Tampa (12/3/2011 ) he claimed third place with a best time of 1:59.68 in the 200-IM... Swimming in the Quad Meet (1/10/2012 ) he won the first heat with a time of 4:45.58 in the 500-yard freestyle,it was his best time of the season in this event…At the SSC Championships (2/15-18/2012 ) touched the wall in third- place with a B-cut time of 2:03.71 in the 200- breast… Swimming at the NCAA Division II Championships (3/14-17/2012) he competed in the 200- breast and swam a time of 2:05.48. He is the current school record holder in the 400-IM with a time of 3:54.39.
In high school while attending The Bolles School Aldabe swam for two years.
Was a Spanish Junior Champion in two events, during the summer of 2009.
Swam for Club de Tenis Elche Natacion and was coached by Francisco Amat.
Aldabe choose NSU because he likes the coaching staff, campus, the location and the positive environment of the athletic department…His favorite food is Mexican cuisine and enjoys watching Grease and Fresh Prince of Bel Air…Napoleon is his favorite historical person and history is his favorite subject in school…Before events he likes to play his motivational playlist which includes songs like “Till’ I Collapse”…His parents, hae always been the influential in his life, always forgiving his mistakes and cheering him up when he needs it…His parents are Ricardo Aldabe and Katrine Bomstad and his brother is Marco.
