Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2012-13)
Competed in every event of the spring season, splitting time as the coxswain for the varsity-8 and V4 boats...Was the coxswain for the 4-boat that won the NCAA National Championship and the Sunshine State Conference Championship races... Helped the varsity-4 finish in 7:43.85 at the NCAA National Championship.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12)
Finished fifth in the varsity four race at Central Florida (3/9/12)…Came in fourth (7:10.6) in the second varsity eight race at the SIRA Championships (4/22/12).
AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11)
Lead novice eight crew to second place finish at SIRA Championships...Won the 2011 Sunshine State Conference Female Sportsmanship Award, along with the rest of the boat, for leading crew to the aid of a Rollins rower who was in distress after SIRA Championships...Awarded NCAA Student-Athlete Sportsmanship Award...Featured in Sports Illustrated.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Sarasota High School…Competed on the row team for four years...Placed sixth at the Head of the Charles in the V4+...Finished second at the southeast regionals and ninth at nationals in the MV8+...Member of the National Honor Society, Student Government, and was Vice President of her class.
