AS A SENIOR (2014-15)
Fall 2014: His best finish of the fall was 14th place at the Guy Harvey Invitational…Opened the year with a 1-over-par, 37th-place showing at the Saint Leo Invite, including a 2-under second round (75-70—145)…At the Guy Harvey, shot back-to-back even-par rounds for that finish of 14th (74-72-72—218)…Closed out his fall season with a 2-over 74 in the final round of the Otter Invitational, to total a 229 (78-77-74).
Spring 2015: Capped his Shark career with his third All-American honor, a Second-Team nod by PING, and a No. 9 final individual ranking…Was also a member of PING's DII All-South Region team…Tied for second overall at the NCAA South/Southeast Super Regional, shooting bookend rounds of 68 and 69…Had three top-20 finishes to begin the spring, starting with a tie for third at the St. Edward's Invitational…Won two out of three medal/match play rounds to help lead the Sharks to the National Championship.
AS A JUNIOR (2013-14)
Fall 2013: Began the year with a 221 and an 18th-place finish at the Brickyard Crossing Intercollegiate (75-74-72—221)…Had a 1-under-par round of 71 in his final event of the fall, the Guy Harvey Invitational (80-75-71—226).
Spring 2014: Chosen Honorable Mention All-American by PING following the year…Had his best individual finish of the year in the spring opener, the Matlock Collegiate Classic, tying for third (70-73-70—213)…Was at his best in the postseason, first tying for 10th at the NCAA South/Southeast Regionals with each round near par (73-72-70—215)…Finishing in a tie for 11th during stroke play at the NCAA National Championships, ending play with a 69 (78-73-69—220)…Won his match play matchup in the semifinal round, shooting a 2-over 74 to win by two strokes.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13)
Fall 2012: Started season with a runner-up finish in team's victory at the Guy Harvey Invitational, shooting a season-low round of 69 (71-69-70—210)…Captured third place at the Otter Invitational (75-72-69—216)…Took 23rd in the McDonough Cup (76-73-76—225)…Appeared in his final tournament of the season, finishing 27th at the Saint Leo Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12)
Fall 2011: Opened his collegiate career with an 18th-place finish (78-69-71—218) at the Adams Cup of Newport…Helped the Sharks finish second at the NSU Shark Invitational, tying for 23rd (75-77-72—224)…Came in 18th (71-73-80—224) at the Otter Invitational…Helped the Sharks win the Marjorie Whitney Invitational with a 17th-place finish (82-74-75—231).
Spring 2012: Helped the Sharks receive GCAA All-Academic Team recognition…Won the Phil Mickelson Award as the top freshman in NCAA Division II golf…Named SSC Freshman of the Year…Began the spring season with a 20th-place finish (79-74-71—224) at the UNO Mardi Gras Invitational…Finished fifth (74-73-72—219) to help the Sharks win the St. Edward’s Invitational…Eighth-place finish (72-65-70—207) helped NSU finish second at the Bobcat Intercollegiate…Won a three-way playoff (72-70-64—206) to win the Buccaneer Invitational…Finished as the runner-up (74-68-75—217) as the Sharks captured the SSC Championship…Helped the Sharks qualify for the NCAA Championship with a 38th-place showing (78-77-68—223) at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Men’s Golf Regional…His six-stroke victory (66-72) in the semifinals of the NCAA Championship helped the Sharks beat Central Oklahoma and advance to the finals where they swept Chico State…Won his finals match by two strokes (69-71) to help NSU capture its first men’s golf National Championship.
