AS A SENIOR (2017)
Became the first NSU tennis player in program history to win SSC player of the year…Was also named All-SSC first team singles and second team doubles...Ranked the top singles player in the south region with a No. 3 rank in Division II…Posted a 17-0 record in singles with an 11-0 mark against conference and regional opponents…Also recorded a 6-0 mark against nationally-ranked opponents with marquee wins against the third and sixth-ranked players in the country.

Comes to NSU after playing two years of tennis for Coach Jenny Mainz at the University of Alabama…As a senior, Perez went 16-6 in doubles including a 12-2 mark in dual matches while posting a 14-5 record in singles...Made the SEC Academic Honor Roll…As a junior, Perez posted a 15-1 singles record with a perfect 12-0 record in dual matches...Won 18 doubles matches, 8 of them against SEC opponents...Was ranked No. 80 in singles and No. 35 in doubles…Helped her team win its first ever SEC Tennis Championship by rallying to beat Georgia…Made the All-SEC Second Team and SEC All-Tournament Team…Was named SEC Player of the Week twice and made SEC Academic Honor Roll.
