Letter from the Director of Athletics
As we continue our mission to be one of the most successful intercollegiate athletic programs in the country, we would like to invite you to become a part of our "team" by joining the Shark Club, the official Booster Club of Nova Southeastern University Athletics.
Your donation to the Shark Club directly impacts the lives of more than 300 student-athletes participating on 17 varsity teams. Your support allows our student-athletes to pursue academic excellence while striving to achieve the highest level of success in NCAA competition. Whether it be facility expansion, equipment upgrades, or enhancing the academic support programs in the department, your contribution will allow us to continue providing a first class experience for our student-athletes.

Matching gift programs are offered by many companies for their employees. Contract your company's human resource office and take advantage of this opportunity to increase your support.
Gifts of appreciated assets such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and property, can all be accepted as gifts.
Gifts-in-kind such as donated services or items that would normally be purchased or paid for by the Department of Athletics are accepted. All such items must be pre-approved by the director of athletics
Endowments may be established by donors as permanent funds that would provide scholarship support in perpetuity.

Nova Southeastern University is a charitable organization and gifts made to it or its booster program are generally tax deductible by the donor in computing taxable income. The Internal Revenue Service has ruled that the receipt of benefits raises a presumption that the payment is not a gift unless the value of the gift is deducted from the amount of gift. The booster program has estimated the fair market value of benefits distributed to its donors. Each donor should consult his/her own tax adviser concerning the deductibility of his/her contribution. Donated services are not tax deductible per IRS rules.
