WINTER PARK, Fla. –
Malin Broberg (Sr., Stockholm, Sweden) of the Nova Southeastern women's soccer team was named to the All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team, as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
Broberg earns her second All-SSC nod in consecutive years, just the fourth women's soccer player to earn back-to-back awards in the past decade.
Broberg finished the season with 11 goals, which led the team and was good for fourth most in the conference. Her season got off to a hot start after she scored the game-winning goal in her first three matches. She also scored at least one goal through the team's first five matches, including a hat trick in a 5-1 win over Lynn.
Broberg finishes her career at NSU as one of the most decorated players in team history. She finishes fourth in the record books in career goals (24), game-winning goals (8) and points (59). Her 11 goals this season is also the fourth most in a single season by a women's soccer player at NSU.
