FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern baseball team has released its 2014 spring schedule and will begin the season Feb. 1 at the NSU Baseball Complex, for a doubleheader against Tusculum at 1 p.m.

The Sharks will begin their 2014 campaign in the comfort of their own home, as they play 10 of their first 11 games at at the NSU Baseball Complex. Their lone road game during this stretch is right down the road against St. Thomas, in Miami on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
The Sharks will make a trip to South Carolina to take on Anderson College on February 20, then at Benedict in Columbia, S.C. for a three-game series. The Sharks will wrap up that seven-game road trip with a three-game SSC series, the first conference series for NSU of the season, at Florida Tech Feb. 28-March 1.
The Sharks have one other seven-game road trip from March 28-April 8, before concluding the season with eight of their final 11 games at home.
NSU will travel to last year's NCAA national champions, the No. 1 Tampa Spartans for a three-game series, April 18-19 for the final road test of the year.
The NCAA South Regional will take place from May 15-18, and the NCAA Division II World Series will take place in Cary, N.C. May 25-31 , concluding the 2014 baseball season.
