FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. –
Josh Glick (So., Boca Raton, Fla.), a member of the Nova Southeastern University baseball team has been voted to the Florida League All-Decade Team.
The Florida League recently had the fans, coaches and league staff, vote online for an All-Decade team. The Florida Collegiate Summer League has had 235 players drafted in the 10 years of its existence.
"It feels great knowing that people voted me for the All-Decade Team and it's a huge honor," said Glick. "The Florida Collegiate Summer League is a great league with great history. I had an amazing summer playing on the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs and I could't have asked for a better team. Much of my success goes to my teammates and my coaches. It means a lot to be able to represent the NSU program in this way. It is also a testament to how the coaching staff here at NSU has prepared their athletes to succeed not only in school, but out in leagues away from school."
In one season as the closer with the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs in 2013, Glick (1-0) appeared in 17 games and did not allow an earned run. He finished the season with 10 saves to go along with 10 strikeouts and just four walks in 20.1 innings pitched. Glick also had a stellar 0.88 WHIP.
Glick is joined on the All-Decade team by big name players such as Jonathan Lucroy, the starting catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers. Click

"I am very proud of what Josh went out and accomplished this summer," said Sharks baseball coach Greg Brown. "His development and confidence on the mound have been tremendous from his experience in the Florida Collegiate League. I believe that the relationships that we have formed with the Florida Collegiate League, the NECBL, The Valley League and the Cape Cod League over the years have been essential to our players development and experience. Accomplishments like this and Asuaje being an All-Star in The Cape Cod League in 2012 have paved opportunities for our current players and future Sharks."
So far this season, Glick has two saves in two chances, not allowing a hit and striking out four in two innings of work.
