Dillon Frye (Jr., Raleigh, N.C. ), 
Geoff Jimenez (Sr., Pembroke Pines, Fla.) and 
Alvin Swoope (Fr., Port St. Lucie, Fla.) members of the Nova Southeastern baseball team, are all named to the 2014 Jaeger Sports Tino Martinez Award watch list.
The Tino Martinez Award is given to the most outstanding player in Division II college baseball at the end of the year.
A total of 125 student-athletes comprise the early-season watch list. The Sunshine State Conference has 15 players from six different programs on the list.
The annual honor is named after the former University of Tampa Spartan, Olympian and Major League Baseball All-Star Tino Martinez. Martinez was named to the SSC Hall of Fame for the Class of 1997-98.
There will be another updated mid-season release in April, then semifinalists are schedule to be announced on May 12th. After the finalists are named, fans will be once again invited to vote online at tinoaward.com to help determine the winner.
The winner will be announced after the conclusion of the Division II Baseball Championship held in Cary, N.C. from May 24-31.
